I made these with chocolate chips perfect as my family all said they were delicious and went in a few days can’t wait to bake them again. Even though the cornflour smell was a bit rank

No, I don’t freeze them! It’s okay if they break up in the mix x

Hey! What butter did you use? And did you add anything else? x

Did you use cadburys? As mentioned on the post this can often happen with Cadbury’s due to its ingredients x

Hiya! Ah, as mentioned on the blog post, Cadbury’s sometimes isn’t the best and this can happen – it may be best so just switch to some chopped up chocolate, or an alternative supermarket own brand. Also, making sure that if you made the cookies any smaller/thinner, you reduced the baking time x

I’ve made loads of your recipes and they’ve always been perfect and delicious- but not this one. The cookies baked perfectly but the chocolate became hard/crunchy and unpleasant. I used cadburys giant buttons (as I had some). Is that where I went wrong?

I cooked them on 160fan for 20 mins and the biscuits golden. Not sure how I can change this next time.

These were soo good!
My cookies spread out and didn’t hold their shape in the oven, why could this be? It was a very hot day could the dough/butter been too hot?
